In addition to the regular _Salaam/Shalom_ news broadcast, the show airing this evening (7/21)--which will be repeated twice next week--features Part 2 of a 1986 debate between the late Meir Kahane, one of the spiritual and political leaders of extremist Jewish settlers, and former California Congressman Pete McCloskey. The show also examines photographs taken by Christian Peacemaker Team volunteers of racist graffiti written by Jewish settlers in the West Bank to terrorize Palestinians. The graffiti is a stark reminder that Meir Kahane may be dead, but the racist views he espoused are still common in the territories.
