Vermont Says NO to War Conference at the University of Vermont, September 9 & 10
Featuring keynote speaker Michael Parenti and speakers National President of Veterans for Peace David Cline and South African Poet and Anti-Apartheid Dissident Dennis Brutus

BURLINGTON, VT -- On September 10, 2005, peace, social justice, and political activists from across Vermont will converge on Burlington for the "Vermont Says NO to War Conference for Peace and Against War, Occupation & Empire" at the University of Vermont. 

Keynote speaker Michael Parenti, author of Terrorism Trap and Superpatriotism, speaks on "Empires: Past and Present" as the Inaugural Event of the Will Miller Social Justice Lecture Series on Friday, September 9 at 7:30 p.m. at the CC Theater in Billings Student Center at the University of Vermont.

*  Keynote address on Friday evening and all plenary sessions to take place in CC Theater.
