Seems like a rather large omission since vxml natively supports this?

Hi Brian-

 

There's not currently a clean way to do this (though I've been
discussing some ideas around it with Trip - I think it will happen in
the not-too-distant future).  The best way I know of now is to create a
variable that holds your recording name; manipulate this in a code
block, and then set the Play prompt to play an audio file using a value
from a variable.

I am trying to find a way to have a Play Prompt play a second or
different recording when the customer is reprompted due to no match or
no input failures. Is this possible?
