Hi Wolfgang--

No, it's not a bug, but a relatively new feature. A "Reference" refers to the
Voice project's Voice.xml file. If you go to the Voice associated with your
project and open the Voice.xml file, you'll see a blank screen with a few
buttons on the bottom. Click "Add Shared Content" -- this will let you define
any combination of audio resources, grouped under a single name. This name is
the Reference; once you save the Voice.xml file, you should see your new
Reference (shared content) appear as an option in all of the dialogs in your
project which have some prompting configuration.

There are few nifty uses for this — one of which is that you can define a
reference for your standard reprompting message, or a legal disclaimer. In the
future, if one of these needs to be changed, one edit will affect the entire
application. True, in certain circumstances this could be done with audio file
manipulation, but using a Reference means that you can make the changes with no
audio manipulation, using as many files as are needed.

Good luck,
Randy

Subject: [vtp-dev] VTP - Question Block - Prompt Entry - Content Type
"Reference"

Hello VTP-Developer Team,

when i define Prompts in following Blocks in VTP: "Question", "Record" and
"Option Set" - there is a possibility to define a Prompt Entry - Content Type
"Reference".

But it's not possible to use this Content Type "Reference".

Is it a bug - or how should this Prompt Entry "Content Type" to be used?

When i use a variable in this context, it's not possible to close this dialogue
with OK-button...

Thanks in advance for any comments!
