The script Vuurmuur creates looks normal, so I don't think the rules are an issue. Could you run the vuurmuur command on the commandline like this: "vuurmuur -v" and post the output? Also, can you have a look at the vuurmuur.log and error.log to see if there are any warnings or errors?
