Thanks, I was looking at trying to get mpath working with vuurmuur, it would be interesting to find out if anyone has done this.
I have two outbound connections, one primary (satellite) and one secondary (3G dialup), both of which are presented as DHCP connections to the box. I need the ability to use the primary if it is up, failover to the 3G (and bring the link up) when the primary goes away, then fail back to the primary (and hang up the 3G) when the primary comes back. I've almost got it going using scripts, but a cleaner solution like mpath would be better.
