Maybe I don't get the point, butFor bad reasons, I've already have the same ssh 
connection during 3 days... Ok that was through a vpn tunnel, but even I should 
allow ssh connection in vuurmuur ...
I've other issue with ssh, but more linked to the authentification 
(certificates) rather than the stability of the link.

Hi Victor,

Have you ever encountered a situation where SSH sessions into a machine 
would "dry up", ie. throughput would be severely limited to the point of 
blocking completely?

I have yet to fully investigate it, but I think it could be related to 
Vuurmuur, and I don't know yet exactly what.

So I was wondering whether you have ever experienced it yourself and if 
it could be related to the firewall itself.
