When I ping the default gateway I get a response every time. The problem is that the network cards are NOT plugged in. The default gateway IP is not assigned to the loopback interface or any other interface. It is also different than the broadcast address. The default outbound interface is a virtual interface. I think it might be a nat issue. Has anyone else experienced this before?
