Hello,

I have installed OpenVPN on Vyatta successfully to test OSPF status with a
Linux/Quagga router.

I would like to use it with Vyatta in a (magic) triangle scenario.

The thing is, OpenVPN creates a Virtual interface called "tap" or "tun".

Under quagga i just successfully added the network 10.7.0.2/30 (the tunnel
network) in OSPF but under Vyatta you need to use an interface (set protocol
ospf4 area 0.0.0.0 interface ...) and of course
i have no tun or tap interface available at the VYatta level, so i tried to
use the ethernet interface and put 10.7.0.1/30 as a secondary interface.

The result is the following, the Quagga sees correcty the Vyatta router as OSPF
neighbour
but not the contrary. I think this is because i had to declare the network
tunnel (10.7.0.0/30) under the eth0 interface.
The best thing would be that it wouldn't be mandatory to add an interface in
the Vyatta
 OSPF statement. :-)

Can you help me?

Has anyone connected two Vyatta together with OSPF and OpenVPN?

Thanks

Troopy
