You provided me with the following docx file to show a conversion sample
 in the previous mail.

When this manual.docx is converted to bookmap file, each topic file has
meaningful file name and ID (ex. limitations.dita, w2x_command.dita).
When I also tried the conversion without options, the result was same.

Would you let me know why converted topics have meaningful file names?

It's the id of the generated DITA topic which is used as a save filename for this topic.

The id of a generated DITA topic comes from the *bookmark* added at the beginning of the corresponding DOCX heading, if such bookmark exists. Otherwise this id is automatically generated.

For example, in manual.docx, *all* headings ("Heading 1", "Heading 2", etc) have a bookmark containing a carefully chosen value.

Because doing this requires some self-discipline from the author using MS-Word, as of XMLmind Word To XML v1.2.2, we have added the following options:

edit.ids.generate-section-ids

edit.ids.section-id-max-length
