I have a Word document with superscripts like sg, pl. The output XHTML

For example see in attached doc "Or did you^sg think"
There is nothing special to do to preserve superscripts. This should
work out of the box.
The problem with the 18.docx you sent us is that superscript "sg" is not
really a superscript.
It's a tracked change inserted by your reviewer Mr. Fadel S. (Let's call
this a *pending* superscript waiting to be approved or rejected.) See
attached screenshot inserted_sg_superscript.png
XMLmind Word To XML automatically discards all tracked changes before
performing a conversion, that's why something like inserted text "sg"
disappears from the output of w2x.
(Note that there is currently no way to make XMLmind Word To XML keep
tracked changes. More information in "Limitations and implementation
specificities",
http://www.xmlmind.com/w2x/_distrib/doc/manual/index.html#limitations )
Once you open 18.docx in Word, accept all changes and save back 18.docx
to disk, "sg" becomes a *real* superscript and it should work fine. I
did that and it worked fine for me. See attached screenshot
