Sorry but I cannot reproduce this problem whatever the web browser I've used (Firefox, Chrome, Opera, IE11).
It always works fine for me. Simply when I use Firefox (and only Firefox), this web browser displays a dialog box (screenshot attached) and after I click "Continue", the conversion is successfully performed by POSTing the form fields to "http://www.xmlmind.com:8080/w2x/convert";.
My guess is that you have an anti-virus or proxy of some sort which blocks "http://"; when called from "https://"; and/or which blocks port 8080.
Sorry but I've no workaround to suggest for a problem which seems to be specific to your working environment.
