Thats a little more difficult... the first thing that comes to my
mind regarding libraries and core things that are missing in python is
NTLM authentication handler for urllib2. There is a tool that is
written in python, called ntlm authentication proxy that implements
ntlm, but not as a urllib2 handler (which sucks). If you want to
contribute to the w3af project, and also to other projects, you may
take the ideas from the ntlm auth proxy and rewrite them as a urllib2
handler. If that is finally written, w3af will support NTLM, and the
library could also be embeded into other python projects and possibly
into python itself.
