Dmitry, I am not stating that SourceForge is ideal rather their poor implementation of git would facilitate a further transition to GitHub.
In my opinion it would be easier (for all involved) to transition to directly to GitHub for git than leverage the SourceForge (poor) implementation as a workaround. I would be interested in Andreas' opinion as he might prefer SVN over git and hence retaining SourceForge?
