I fished the Middle Fork of the Snoqualmie River Feb. 20th. The river level
was low and fishable with just tinge of green color to it. I rigged up a
nymph set-up with a heavily weighted #12 zugbug with a #14 beadhead
pheasant tail as the dropper (about 12 inches between flies).

I was able to coax 2 white fish to take the pheasant tail nymph. Both were
about 12 inches.

I didn't see any insect activity, but tried several dry flies just for fun
(bwo parachute #18 and a royal stimulator #10). The drifts were long and
drag free, but the trout must have been all bundled up in their homes deep
on the bottom.

It was pretty windy, but a lovely day in February to be out on the water.
Looking forward to more days like this!

Fish on, my friend.
Danny
