Thought I'd pass along this fish story.  The Cracker Bar @ Sultan has been a
good early producer of steelies this summer.  One day they caught 20 or so
at that site!  The riffle, at the head of the run and "around the bend" and
upstream from the long expanse of water below the mouth of the Sultan, is
where the bait anglers line up early in the morning.( @ 0-dark-30)  A guy in
the riffle hooked a fish, and when he got it up to where you could see
it.....a 4 ft or so long sturgeon!  They hooked and released it I guess.
The downside to that event is the jetboats that "free drift" up and down
that section.  Takes the fun out of it for me.  Jere
