There is a way.  Your presentation is of no significance, however.  I knew a
fellow who ran a line and a dodger off his downrigger.  Then, he clipped his
fly, (bare red hook, (ie) Seattle Worm) to the dodger from his flyrod. On
the strike you are directly to the sockeye via the flyrod.  There is little
stress on your flyrod while trolling, because of the slow speed of troll.
