Jeff,

I like using black bear for underwing material. A few sparse strands 
produces a very buggy and unkempt look. I'ved used it in cricket, 
skwala and what's locally is known as a whatjamacallit - sort of a 
modified chernobyl ant with hairwing. Fly Tying had an issue several 
years ago featuring 'One Fly' patterns from the competition in MT. In 
it was an flying ant pattern that used bear. Very nice pattern.
