Hi Clinton,
Glad to hear that you are catching some fish off of the island. I fished
steelies near bush point and lagoon point a bunch earlier in the winter but
didn't get any grabs. I am heading out there this weekend (my girlfriend
lives near Freeland) so I will bring my flyrod as always.

Were you fishing the inside of the island? I assume you were if you were
fishing Cutts. I have thrown at cutts a few times around penn cove and
contacted a couple of fish but never done that great. Any info you have
would be great.
Thanks,
Dan

P.S. 11:00 to 1:00. Just kidding. Those rocks can be a bitch. For my
money, I just fish Mustad hooks. I don't even fish saltwater hooks most of
the time b/c I feel that if I break a fish off, the bronze hooks will rust
out faster. Anyway, a 3906, 3906b or 3366 all in various sizes has done me
fine most of the time. If I do need saltwater hooks, I fish mustad (can't
remember the # but they are nickel plated). The only time I fish stainless
is for Tarpon because the other hooks seem to break in half if they don't
sink in all the way (and they usually don't).
