Patrick,
I hadn't heard that they had planted triploids in Chopaka. I did hear that
triploids were being planted in Chopaka, Aeneas and Ell this year. In fact
Heather Bartlett, District 6 Fish Biologist, is putting together a study and
requesting anglers to fill out angler survey forms for these three lakes.
contact her at (509) 422-4465 or [EMAIL PROTECTED] for forms. The
information should be submitted either as part of a club or individually but
not both. Some of the triploids that were planted in Lenice after
rehabilitation last year were pretty large, I know of one (estimated)
ten-pounder that was taken last year and have heard of a twelve-pounder this
spring. I took one on Sunday (on the emerger of course) that would have gone
five easily.
