I have noticed that many people refer to the weight of their catch when talking about larger fish as opposed to length. Being new to this sport, I have a difficult time relating weight to the actual size of a fish. Is there a simple method of converting the length of a trout to an average weight? I know there are many variables affect these measurements but I'm curious how big a 2 or 3 pound fish really is. Don (Spokane)
