"In fly fishing only waters...... Anglers may not use ....weight
attached to the leader or line, or monofilament leader longer than 15
feet..."
This is from the 2001-2002 Fishing Regulation Pamphlet. If I do
understand, I'm not allowed to use a leader longer than 15 feet. I
really don't understand this rule and its goal because I like to use
extremely long leader (25 feet or even longer). 15 feet, it is too short
if you want to fish a ten feet deep pool with a floating line or if you
want to present a small dry fly in shallow waters...
Did I understand the rule? I hope I didn't.
