Jim,
Leech Lake is at the summit of White Pass. The lake is located right
behind the lodge on the south side of the highway. There is a small
campground located alongside the lake. 10 or 11 sites. If you are
heading east on hwy 12, go pass the lodge and a gas station, (both on
the south or left side of the hwy heading east). Maybe a � of a mile
or less further and you will find a dirt road on the south side of the
hwy. This will lead you to the lake & campground. I do not remember this
road being marked several weeks ago.
