Sounds like Ala Spit was a popular place this weekend. A friend and I hit the slit at 10:30 on Sat with the out going tide. We saw two others bring Silvers in with jigs in an hour between 10:30-11:30. I had one on but it was a LDR using a pink and white fly and a type 3 sinktip. By 12:30 the parking lot was full so we decided to hit a few other less crowded places, unfortunately, every where we went there were too many beach goers and we really didn’t want to hook a child and use them for bait on our back casts. At 4:00 we hit the north end of Mukilteo with no success.
Even with no fish, it was a perfect day to be out on the water.
