The Provo River is a little less than an hour from SLC, depending on the traffic! It is Utahs second most popular river. It doesn't come even close to comparing to the Green, but it is a nice little river to fish. Any fly shop will have information on the river and how it is fishing. My sister and brother-in-law live there and my experiences of fishing with him down there have led me to believe that Utahs troutfishing is sooooo much better than ours. I envy you!!!
