I know George Cook puts together a Spey class every
spring at Ben Howard on the Sky. It is usually in Febuary or
March.
I will find out later this month of the exact
dates...
Ill keep in touch.

Maurice: Man, you
got the right start! I also was lucky enough to have Dec run across me
(floundering) in my first year with the big stick, and give me pointers 6 or
more years ago. After I shared his stuff with my partner, we decided to
reduce the learning curve, and simply book him for a day . . . worth every
penny. Far more valuable than any collection of books, videos etc.
This guy is a master teacher (coming from a newly retired educator of 30
years.) If you can hook up with him, that is the way to go. Another
valuable activity is the Spey casting gathering that takes place each spring,
on the west side (last year it was at Howard Miller), and Fall on the East
side (near Lewiston as I recall). A bunch of guys, all helpfull, with a
bunch of rods and lines to play with. Moore later, Tom
