Woke early to catch the incoming tide and was on my favorite south sound beach by 7:30.Have not fished for over a month and felt really rusty. Got everything worked out and right around 9 the fish showed up.
Caught a couple 15inch coho and then took the biggest cutt I have ever landed. Pushing 20 inches and really fat. I am always amazed how much fight cutts have. Far more than any fish of the comparable size I have yet to encounter. Took another coho after that and was off the beach at 10am. The fish realy liked my 2 inch epoxy baitfish in chartreuse. Was happy to see the size of some of the coho out there.
