Title: Re: Popper tying components at Avid Angler
This would be cool to have a workshop/talk on this type of fishing, I'd be very interested.  I've read Raymond's book but sort of feel lost out there on the sound.  I feel like I'm casting out into the wide-open ocean when I'm used to casting to vey fishy looking spots in rivers and streams.   I know I've got a lot to learn about reading the water in salt v.s. reading the water in rivers and it would be good to hear it from some of the guys here who actually catch fish in this strange new environment.

Subject: Re: Popper tying components at Avid Angler

I just got home from a day of fishing and had a phone message from Nathan. He and I had talked about me coming out to the store and do a popper tying demo and beach talk. I'm glad he got the stuff. I will call him tomorrow.

Leland.

A week or so ago there were a couple of postings about folks not being able to find the proper size heads for Leland's beach poppers.

As an FYI, I was just at Avid Angler, and they have three sizes of the foam Dink popper heads, starting from the smallest, in white, chartreuse, and yellow.  Suffice to say, they have the colors and sizes needed!
