Forgot to respond to this one... I found the Timberline Emerger to be effective in large sizes, 14 or so, it's a Kaufman pattern I think. Got a 20" brown and a number of nice bows at Pass Lake fishing this fly in the film. There is also a fly that is effectively a Klinkhammer Emerger tied on a stimulator hook (is that a TMC210?) - it works well in sizes 14 and 16 - I like that fly for Lenice when the Callibaetis aren't happening but the fish are sipping large midges. It also has worked well for me at Pass Lake.

Now I need to tie some adults and am looking for suggestions. In the past I have been succesful with the Lady McConnel and the Racoon. What other effective stillwater patterns are out there? _________________________________________________________________ Send and receive Hotmail on your mobile device: http://mobile.msn.com
