thanks for the report- the full moon was on the 26th- I never fish on or near the full moon in lakes as they just don't seem to fish well. The exception is at night when fishing can be very good. I've been observing this for over 20 years. Don't know why it's true, but it seems to be. The Conconully Lakes are very low. Maybe the lowest I have ever seen them in May. The lower lake is starting to fill up a bit but will not even come close to reaching full pool this year. The upper lake is even worse. It only has one small feeder stream to fill it and it must be down a good 20 feet or more.
