I am not sure which reel model is which in the Redington line, but one of the high end lodges I guide for has 6 or 8 Redington rod/reel combos for guest use. Probably came as a package on Red Start rods. Simple double pawl drags. After several years of hard use, they just keep on clicken.
Broken rods are replaced, across the counter, with no questions or paperwork.
No, I don't own any Redington products, but I have seen them used, and abused.
