Hello, I went to the Methow on Friday and thought I would submit my report, for what it's worth. I arrived late in the afternoon on Friday, after a late start from Seattle. I fished at the Gold Creek area for about an hour with no hits. The flows are only a bit higher than normal for this time of year, and the water clarity is fine. I saw only two other fishermen along the river. I had to meet some friends in Chelan at 5pm that day, so I didn't get much of a crack at it. The bird hunting was so good I decided not to head back to the river on Sunday to try it again. Anyway, for those of you thinking about heading over there, the water looks good.
