I completely agree with the boot sizing! It took me a little while to figure that out. Circulation is the key to warm feet.
Now I wear size 10 boots (my foot is 8 1/2). I wear fleece socks on the inside and put a wool sock over the outside to prevent my boots from chafing the neoprene. If I can manage that, the rest of my body will be warm. Fleece is huge and I really like the wind shear products on the market. Keeping the wind out will help drastically. I wear a fleece hat, wind shear fleece gloves, poly under fleece on the upper and lower half. I wear a good pair of wool socks and make sure your boots are not too tight. One of the biggest problems I see for people winter fishing, is they use their summer boots, double up on socks and have trouble with circulation which results in cold feet. ymmv, JT ----- Original Message ----- From: "Mark Steudel" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Sent: Tuesday, November 02, 2004 3:37 PM Subject: Question: Cold weather preparations > Well now that I the setup to fish the winter runs, I'm curious as to what > sort of cold weather preparations do you all make on your gear. > > E.g.
