I went to this flyfishing show for the first time
last year. I had to go on a Saturday, so it was very crowded, but I felt it was
worth it. I was able to see lots of new products, talk to lots of experts (and a
few passing themselves off as that), and guess the best thing for me was not
having to wade through lots of things which really don't interest me. In the
past I have gone to the Sportsman's shows but you don't get near the number of
exhibitors at them. Overall, I would recommend it. By the way, Rocky Ford,
as any other fishery can be frustrating at times.

Rod and Reel Magazine
how is this fly fishing show? would you recommended
it?
One of our fellow list members, Michael
Santangelo, has a letter to the editor in the latest issue of the above
mentioned magazine. Michael takes to task the observations of a writer who
wrote about Rocky Ford Creek and staying/eating in the Ephrata WA area. Even
though Michael now lives in the Netherlands, he took the time to question
this writers observations. Kudos to you Michael! By the way, the
Annual Fly Fishing Show at the Meydenbauer Center in Bellevue is
coming up Feb 11, 12, and 13th. Just got a brochure on it.
