I hate to say anything good about Rocky Ford because it's already crowded
enough. I have fished it for nearly 20 years and it is where I go when I want to
sight fish big fish. This is where I caught my largest trout ever and also where
I've had some incredible thrills with hot fish. The exciting fish hang out where
they are hard to catch and are very wary. The number of quality fish has
seemed to decline over the years. I think it's a combination of ever increasing
pressure and more anglers learning how to fish it effectively.
