2 years ago, at Cady Lake, my son and I were having exactly the same results, even noticing that no one else was catching anything; most everyone trying to match the hatch with dry patterns, when my son put on a muddler minnow. Voila!! Catching really got good for a couple hours. My sons largest was 26".
