Hello,
I'm a member of the listserver but I seldom post,
so a few of you may not know me. I'm a member of the Washington State Hi
Lakers and I sometimes make a post about upcoming meetings on this listserver,
but sometimes I neglect this. At any rate, I wanted to invite the list members
to our April meeting which is taking place tomorrow evening (Wednesday) at the
Washington State Public Health Lab, in Shoreline. The meeting will run from
7:30pm to 10:00pm, and we have a very interesting guest speaker this month. I am
pasting a blurb I wrote below, for a local hiking board, which explains the
program, location, and driving directions.
If any of you are interested in the high lakes
fishery, I urge you to attend one of our meetings.
Thanks,
Cliff
The April Hi Lakers meeting is
tomorrow night (Wednesday) and it should be an interesting one.
The program will be Rick McGuire, who is a member of the Alpine Lakes Protective Association, doing a 30-40 minute slide show presentation on the proposed new Wild Sky Wilderness area. Rick has lots of great photos of high lakes and wild country and lots of information. This will be a good opportunity to discuss this new proposed Wilderness and its pros and cons. So be sure to come Wednesday night, April 20th, 7:30PM to the Dept of Health. Below is the usual blurb and location/driving instructions. Additional location information and driving instructions can be found at: http://hilakers.org/ I hope to see you there. I'll have cookies and coffee. Cliff Date: Wednesday, April 20, 2005 Time: 7:30PM PDT (GMT-07:00) The Hi-Laker meeting is this coming Wednesday. 7:30 PM at the Dept of Health Bldg at the Fircrest campus.
