Mark- Good to know, as I intend to head up that way soon. If anyone else happens to be following this thread, I would encourage you to check out the link to Jason Neuswanger's Troutnut.com website that Mark provided. It is by far the best source for aquatic insect photos on the internet.

Probably a size 12. http://www.troutnut.com/naturals/mayflies/callibaetis/index.php It ended around 2:30 - 3 ish. As is typical with rattlesnake fish still continued to rise sporadically till we left at 4. I was pleasantly surprised that the lake wasn't as crowded as I expected. The fish were pretty willing, and we were able to take 10 in a couple of hours, both ontop of the water and below the water. Most people around seemed to be getting into some sort of fish, with some guys really cleaning up and some doing all right. I don't think the wooley bugger trollers were doing so well, but those fishing dries or pulling nymphs near the surface seemed to do best. We fished black elk haired caddis 14 , march brown 12 , parachute adams 20, emerger 14 , and a bh march brown nymphs 14, all of these drew multiple strikes. Water level was low, but not the lowest I've seen. Boat ramp was still usable but a zoo. Mark -- No virus found in this outgoing message. Checked by AVG Anti-Virus.
