Yes, I've seen those dicussions. I just wondered if anyone has tried the
lighter, though still two-handed (if desired) casting rod on our local
beaches. The atlantis models seem a little big for searuns and 4# silvers
(though I would never refuse to fish one!).
I take it the action on this particular Tracker is not-so-fast?

I've been using the fastest models I can. Of the CND's the Atlantis rods
were designed with overhead casting to stripers in mind. On
flyfishingforum.com, the Atlantis coupled with the Rio Outbound line has
been discussed at length.

I think the 9'8" would make a great Puget Sound beach rod--Leland, have
you tried this?
I'm putting a Saturday at River Run on my schedule, too.
