Posted on Wednesday, January 2, 2002 @ 3:05pm Apple today officially announced the Webcast of Steve Jobs' keynote as well as the (expected) satellite simulcast on Monday, January 7th at 9 am PST. Apple VP's Avie Tevanian and Phil Schiller will also be giving a "Power of X" feature presentation on Tuesday, January 8th at 12 pm PST. Jobs' keynote satellite broadcast will be available on both KU and C bands. 5/Transponder 25 KU Band Orbital slot: 97 degrees west Downlink Frequency: 12144 MHz Polarity: Vertical down Audio Subcarriers: 6.2 and 6.8 Galaxy 3R/Transponder 5 C Band Orbital slot: 95 degrees west Downlink Frequency: 3800 MHz Polarity: Horizontal down Audio Subcarriers: 6.2 and 6.8 Although I think I am out of range for this one.
