Having asked the UWA tech contacts list and got the suggestion of
"delete old copy re-install new copy put in new codes I though some
one here would know a more elegant answer.
SPSS requires renewals each year and on the PC version there is an
application that you run that applies the new codes. However the mac
version doesn't seem to have this application. I've also looked
through the online and web help/support pages for spss and googled it
but no joy.
Is unistall/reinstall the only option. - there doesn't seem to be a
preference file I can trash to null out the old codes
