With the impending release of the new iMac does this mean that the present
supposedly outdated one will be superseded. It seems to me that if Apple are
going to stop producing the current model and Apple Australia are going to
price the entry level iMac at $3000 then that is the end of Macs in
Australia. Macs had a reputation for being expensive compared to PC's (yes I
know about Total Cost of Ownership and better reliability etc), then the
iMac became very competitively priced compared with the Dark Side, and now
it looks like they will become pricey again.
Any thoughts?
