Hi WAMUGGERs I have a couple of problems with Word (Office 2001:Mac) taking a long time to complete relatively simple formatting tasks like inserting a new table (usually with only a few columns and lines) and inserting a bullet for the first time. Word seems to go into freefall while the HD rattles away madly in the background, often taking 10-15 seconds to do the job. I¹ve also noticed the same delays happening when I go to print HD rattling away for a while before the print dialogue box appears.
I¹ve tried some of the obvious fixes increase memory allocation, Office 2001 service pack upgrade with no success. Any ideas? Cheers Neil [Non-text portions of this message have been removed]
