Is there a built in Activity or events log in OS9.1 that I can
access. Would be particularly useful after unexplained crashes!
No, not really.
You could install MacsBug, which might tell you which program was
running when the crash occurred. It's a programmer level tool, so
it's likely to scare non programmers though :)

Alternately you could install something like Yooz which logs which
applications you've been using and for how long.
