In OSX 10.1.3, 'Mail' seems to be slightly improved, including, as
stated in the 10.1.3 release notes, support SSL (encrypted network
traffic).
mail.mac.com doesn't work on the default port 993. I tried changing it
back to the std IMAP port 143 with SSL 'turned on' and it communicates
OK but I'm not sure if the traffic is encrypted. Anyone know? Apple's KB
says nothing yet.
Also re 'Mail': I wish they'd improve the filters to at least Eudora's
standard, then I'd really be happy.
