For those interested in more info on the P800 Super"Phone", Sony
Ericsson have announced ... Remote Control, a new application for the
P800 that allows users to connect to a home or office PC over the
Internet from any location and via any type of connection -- modem,
mobile phone or wireless. You can then fetch documents, read e-mail,
and so on and can even check on the status of and control Web servers.

It is a micro application that installs on the P800, enabling its users
to access data on a remote computer in real-time, for example, to read
and send e-mail, edit an Excel file, or even reboot a PC. Although it
is very powerful, Remote Control puts no demands on the memory of the
P800. The user needs only establish a connection and navigate, via the
Internet browser on the P800, to his or her PC. Remote Control gives
the user full control of the mouse, keyboard, and special key
sequences.

And for those interested in developing software for the P800 - Symbian
OS v7.0 UIQ SDK for Sony Ericsson P800/802 phones (PRE RELEASE) Use the
UIQ SDK to build applications for the Sony Ericsson P800/P802 phones.
