I'm running OS 9.1 & Outlook Express 5.02. For some time I've had my default browser set to iCab.
Recently I downloaded a new version of iCab. I trashed the old version. When clicking on a URL within an email, I would have expected the new version of iCab to be launched. However, despite the old version being in the trash, the old version was launched. So I re-selected iCab (the new version) as the default web browser via the Internet control panel. Outlook continued to launch the old version. Repeated the process, restarted the Mac, same thing. I emptied the trash, which certainly stopped Outlook from launching the old version of iCab, but now it launches Internet Explorer. I've gone back to the Internet control panel. iCab is still there as default browser. I can't see anything in Outlook's Preferences about selecting a browser. Anyone have a clue as to how I get Outlook back to using iCab as the default browser? TIA...Steven
