Hi folks
I just bought an audio CD from EMI with the following information
regarding copy protection system.

It's actually not a CD, as it doesn't conform to the audio CD standard.

Will contact EMI with query, but in the meantime, does Anyone know
anything about this "technology"? Is it similar to the copy control
that was voidable by using a marker pen to corrupt the data ring?
Perhaps this is the only option to Mac users if they want to play
these CDs using their computers?

Take it back to the retailer and demand a refund. Encourage others to do likewise, otherwise the record companies will keep trying to erode consumers' rights until there's nothing left, and you have to pay to listen to the radio and rent books from the library.

Thanks,
Shay
