If you call Mike at AppleCentre Joondalup (Phone: 9301 5333) they had 
a USB Extender cable (which pulled more power through from the 
computer). It would run off a 5 metre USB cable and was 5metre in 
length I belive, which therefor would give you a total length of 
10meters.

They had one in stock and I'm sure he'd do a mail order if you 
couldn't make it up to his great store.
