I have an old "yoyo"-style power adapter and at one point on the AC
cord it arcs when moved around (visible through the transparent
insulation).
There was brief discussion of this topic on this list in Feb
<http://groups.yahoo.com/group/wamug/message/20752> and I was wondering
if anyone has heard of any resolution such as a quiet Apple safety
recall or a service centre replacement program. Failing that, is there
anywhere to buy a replacement?
